WHO WE ARE  

The Croft and Malvern House provide specialist care for vulnerable people with complex or special needs, including challenging behaviour, and functional mental health, also brain injury, physical disability, and learning difficulties and autism, to facilitate their independence and prevent relapse and also hospitalisation in a cost effective way.

OUR MISSION  

To provide exceptional care delivered by well-trained, caring staff and ensure a safe and happy environment.

Mental Health and Treatment Resistant Psychosis.

Our team care and support people with a range of mild, moderate or severe mental health problems such as depression, anxiety, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, personality disorder, substance misuse including eating disorder.

Brain Injury

Our team care, support and offer residential and respite services for people with brain injury.

Residential Care

We have been told that we are a home from home. Our team care and support individuals who need long term care. We provide a person centred approach and focus on each individual needs.

Respite and Short Stay

Being a full-time carer is a very demanding role. Respite care breaks are an opportunity for carers to take a holiday or simply spend some time looking after their own needs, safe in the knowledge that their loved one is receiving the very best care. Respite care also offer individuals the opportunity to meet new people and try out something new.

Learning Disabilities

Our team care and support people with a range of mild, moderate or severe learning disabilities such as Asperger’s syndrome and Autism.

Accommodation and Daily life image
All bedrooms are en-suite, individually decorated and our residents are welcome to bring their own furnitures.
All bedrooms also have central heating, a nurse call system and are double glazed.

Car with Air Conditioning
A full automatic fire alarm system, and an emergency lighting system
Two reception rooms and dining room
A laundry and utility room with ample storage
Externally there is a private paved ornamental garden and ample of parking to the side of the property and surrounding street
A ramp to the ground floor for wheelchair access

Meals
All our residents are given the opportunity to be involved in the creation of menus.

Social Life
The homes have a policy of actively promoting the maintenance of residents' normal social network and social activities.

Each resident's Care Plan includes a facility for recording life history, social network and contacts, and preferences for activities and hobbies such that staff are made aware of these, and the resident is offered access to those networks and activities which are appropriate and desired.

The policy of the homes is that activities and networking support are a part of normal daily living, and support for access will be available at all times.

Visitors are very welcome at any time that is convenient for the residents.


Flora Mason

Registered Manager and RMN

Extensive Management experience in Private Sector Healthcare, older peoples services and Mental Health services. She has more than 20 years experience in Health and Social Care, graduated from Kings as RMN in 2006. Has worked at Royal Bethlem, Priory, Harley Street alcohol services, Bupa and in the voluntary sector. Skills in CBT, treatment resistant psychosis. Owner of The Croft since 2012 and Malvern House since 2015.

Yendie Ndhlovu

Clinical Operations Manager and RMN

He has 28 years nursing experience in both NHS and Independent Sector with 18 years experience working in the field of specialist Personality Disorder services and qualified in forensic nursing. Registered Manager Award NVQ4 - in Management and Leadership.

Guy Mason

Chief Administration

He has 20 years experience in Health and Social Care.
